Valentine this year - Love Blossoms Contest

Hi, everyone. My name is Koh Kim Lye . This is actually my first time writing a blog because I wanted to participate in this Love Blossoms Contest organize by IOI CITY MALL, PUTRAJAYA. 

 So I was looking on my Facebook page, scrolling like what I normally like to do, and then I click into IOI CITY MALL facebook page and came across this contest, they are actually organizing a few other contest at the same time including the Chinese New Year Comment, Tag and Share contest. 

So I saw the Love Blossoms Contest and click into it, read about the general idea and then the terms and condition, then I decided I should write a blog, enter this contest, hopefully will win and surprise my wife, after all, it had been years and I cannot even remember when was the last time we celebrated Valentine ( mind you, our age add together is 119! )

 I cannot think of creative ideas, but here are mine, so I decided to ask my youngest son to help me write this on the IOI CITY MALL Shopping Directory that I had taken from my last visit.I went there with this and below are my results :)

So how could I spend my Valentine day at IOI CITY MALL, PUTRAJAYA (its actually just 15 min drive from my house, perfect! ) ? Firstly, I would love to bring my wife for a movie at GSC (AT-5) , it's been so long since our last visit to any cinema theater.

After a great movie, I would like to bring my wife for a lunch/dinner at TONY ROMA'S (LG-64)

 My wife have always said and wanted to eat steaks, ribs and all that, but did not want to spend money in expensive places, so end up not going there every time and always go for simple and cheap meal. It will be a great way to surprise her with this wholesome meal this Valentine.

Maybe after all the eating, we can got for a teabreak at MADAME WAFFLE (S-K3) , my wife have always wanted to try one of their signature Waffle, but for us senior citizen, its a bit pricey :(

 or if we are too full then maybe head to COFFEE PLANET (L2-18) for a coffee. This spot will be great as it is located just beside the Ice Skating Rink, we can sip our coffee, enjoy the aroma, enjoy the nice view of people skating and also a private chit-chat session.

After we have rested enough, I think we should go for a walk to burn some calories right? I would love to bring my wife to LOVELY LACE BABY, LOVELY LACE (L1-62A&62B ), I would like to give her this teddy bear as a Valentine gift, my wife do not like to receive flowers as they do no last long, maybe a cute red cuddly bear will be great. I found out the price of this bear is RM99.90 .It will sure bring a smile on her face, even if we are senior citizen, I think she will like and appreciate it.

After that, I would like to bring her to BASKIN ROBBINS (F-K1), I would like to purchase the cake below, bring back home and celebrate with her at our own house with our children. As we all know, Baskin Robbins cake and Ice-Cream are very delicious, but we really could not afford it, so it will be great to have one this Valentine.

After Purchasing the cake, we will head back home in our small and humble Kancil. 

When entering this contest, I know that I have a chance to win branded fragrances worth more than RM500! And who knows, if I have the best entry, I may have my dream granted, and this will definately be the best Valentine for my wife and me.

However, if I did not win, it is still very fun going around IOI CITY MALL, PUTRAJAYA to take pictures, and I have fun writing out my plans for this year Valentine(even if it did not come true) Just wanna thank my wife for constant support, encouragement and love throughout our marriage, giving me the best gift (4 children ), may we continue to support and encourage each other in future.
